Tobacco Specialty

Currently, there is one bachelor’s degree program with 426 undergraduate students and one master’s degree program with 11 postgraduate students in the College of Tobacco Science. The curriculum includes tobacco cultivation, tobacco curing and grading, tobacco chemistry and cigarette processing, tobacco pest control, flue-cured leaf mellowing, and tobacco leaf flavoring.

The college attaches great importance to the combination of teaching and research with tobacco production, and cooperates closely with cigarette enterprises, research institutions, focusing on researches in the fields of high-quality tobacco production (such as cultivation, soil fertilizer management, pest control, and curing), tobacco mellowing, tobacco leaf flavoring and personnel training.
