Doctor Heping Zhu, expert in pest control and Chief Researcher of United States Department-Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS), gave an academic report in YAU on Oct. 24, 2016 at the invitation of the College of Electromechanical Engineering. Professor Zheng Jiaqiang, Professor Zhou Hongping, Professor Xu Linyun and Professor Xu Youlin from the College of Electromechanical Engineering of Nanjing Forestry University also arrived at YAU together with Doctor Zhu.

Doctor Zhu’s report was given at the lecture hall in YAU’s library under the title of “Laser-guided Intelligent Sprayer Technology for Fruit and Nursery Crops”. The four professors of Nanjing Forestry University also gave reports on the key techniques of modern equipment for plant protection and product development, and had deep-going exchanges with the teachers and students.

The symposium was hosted by Professor Zhang Rukun, Dean of the College of Electromechanical Engineering, and 160 teachers and students attended the symposium.
